“Toroweap at Sunrise” captures the Grand Canyon as the sun breaks over the rim in a brilliant starburst, bathing rugged cliffs in copper and gold. Far below, the Colorado River winds through deep canyon shadows, its pale blue surface contrasting with the richly textured rock. Glowing clouds, sunlit ledges and immense vertical walls reveal a dramatic meeting of morning light and the canyon’s vast depth.
